§ 03Operational notes
Homestays are a distinct operating model — small inventory, personal-family service, higher ratio of return guests, often with a specific cultural or environmental proposition. SiteminderStore modules are useful mainly at the direct-booking layer and for e-invoicing where the homestay has a formal business registration. We generally do not recommend the analytics modules for homestays below six rooms.
Every segment has its own economics. The modules that work for a city hotel may be overkill for a homestay; the modules that work for a resort may be unnecessary for a boutique. Talk to us about a right-sized recommendation.
